We’re so happy you’re considering submitting to our magazine!

Through August 1-November 1 11:59 PM EST, we are accepting submissions for our fall issue! Please click this link when you are ready to submit.

Here are our RULES:

You may submit up to three pieces per one issue. If you choose to submit more than one piece, you will submit all of them together (in one document) in the form. Your writing and/or art must be in a file (no larger than 1 MB), as you will upload this file in the form. Please be sure of your submission, as you can only submit to the form once! And yes, we accept previously published work.

*Submissions including writing must be primarily written in English (some phrases and words can be of different languages if of meaning to the work) or have a translation to English.

  • Writing: We accept writing in the forms of poetry, short story, and essay. This includes fiction and non fiction writing.

Poetry: No more than two pages.

Short Story: No more than 5,000 words.

Essay: No more than 2,500 words.

  • Art: We accept art in the forms of photography, painting, digital art, and sketch. Please title your art and/or write a description (up to 300 words) of what it depicts and/or what it means to you when you think about nature.

All Art: No larger than 1200 x 1200 pixels.

You must be at least 13 years old to submit and no older than 21 years old.

However, if you are turning thirteen sometime during the submission period, you may submit. (For example, our fall submissions deadline is November 1st at 11:59 PM EST. If you turn thirteen on that date or before, you may submit!)

Additionally, if you are eighteen years old when you submit but turning nineteen when our issue for that time period comes out, that’s also completely fine.

Your work does not have to completely revolve around nature, but it surely can! We simply want to see some environmental elements in your work, whether that be a unique look at the environment, a focus on environmental issues, etc.

We DO NOT tolerate work composed of hate speech towards another race, religion, and/or gender.

We DO NOT tolerate plagiarism! Please submit your own, original, beautiful works.
